Still without winter photos, because the chalet "1904" was rebuilt in the summer of 2022 with great attention to detail. At an altitude of 1740 m, nestled in the small hamlet of Désert d'en Haut in the ski resort of Valmeinier 1800, it is in perfect tranquillity and ideally located on the slopes of a large ski area, 160 km long and reaching up to 2750 m. It combines traditional architecture, contemporary aesthetic quality and upscale amenities. With its four beautiful bedrooms, the spacious and comfortable 120 m2 chalet can accommodate up to 10 people. The large living room with cast-iron stove, the kitchen, the bar, two bathrooms, a separate WC and an additional work corner make the chalet a very pleasant place where you won't step over your feet. From here you also have a beautiful view over the Neuvache valley to the north, west and south.
1904" is a large detached chalet that was completely renovated in 2022 and is tastefully and comfortably furnished. It is spread over three levels with a large, high and wide windowed living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a bar, four bedrooms with very comfortable beds, two bathrooms, a separate WC and two entrances. Bed linen, duvets, towels and a cleaning service are included in the rental price.

- Accessibility :The chalet is non-smoking. Animals are not admitted. Regrettably, the chalet is not accessible to people with reduced mobility and not recommended for small children able to walk.
St-Michel/Valloire station, 16 km from the chalet, is served by TGV during the winter season. The TGV stations of Modane and St-Jean de Maurienne are 30 km away. Shuttle buses (www.altibus.com) to the ski resort with stop "Maison de Valmeinier", or taxi to the ski bridge. Afterwards, access to the chalets is possible on foot via a gently descending slope/path (400m). Directly by motorway, Valmeinier is 660 km from Paris, 200 km from Lyon and 875 km from Brussels. Exit no. 29 St-Michel de Maurienne of the A43 motorway is 16 km from Valmeinier 1800. Park in the car park of the 1800 station, just after the ski bridge. Walk onto the ski slope that runs along the car park from the bridge. Access to the chalets is on foot via a slightly descending slope/path (400 m).
